Welcome to the September edition of ISCRR’s newsletter. In this edition, we welcome our new Director, celebrate being a PIEF award finalist, shed light on the latest research on working safely with AI cobots, and share insights from the Comcare National Conference. We also have links to the recordings of our recent ISCRR Learning Series webinar, and podcast, and a registration link for our upcoming webinar in October.

On a personal note, it has been an honour serving as interim co-leaders of ISCRR since February 2023, one that we look back with pride and humility. We are thankful for the contributions of our talented ISCRR staff and their excellent capability in strengthening ISCRR’s reputation. We are deeply appreciative of the unwavering support from the leadership team of our partners, in particular Anita Zanchetta from Monash University and Nicola Wojcik from WorkSafe Victoria.

There are many more incredible people who have guided and supported us along our journey in serving the Institute. We are fortunate (and relieved) to be returning to our former roles at ISCRR. As the Institute embarks on this exciting phase of our strategy, it is time for new energy, new curiosity, and new leadership.
